It’s been a while since the last entry. It seems like I only blog once a month. I know I have been neglecting this site. Anyway, early in February, me and my friends from Joy Photowork went to Kotagede for a photo session.

We were supposed to gather up at 9 am. And here is where the story started, I went to my highschool instead and waited for them for a while, only to found out that everyone were already at Aldi’s place. Sigh. It’s embarassing how bad my memory is.

I’ve been seeing this book at every bookstore that I visit. Since I was curious to know more about him, I finally bought this book.

Actually, I have mixed feelings about Steve Jobs. I do agree that he’s one of the most influential person in mobile technology. And I kinda adore him. But I can’t say that I’m a fan of him.

I’ve had this movie for quite a time, planned to watch this movie, because I heard that this movie is awesome, but I never had the urge to watch this. But now, I just did, and I regret that I didn’t watch it earlier.

Memento is a story about Leonard (Guy Pearce), who have a medical condition called Anterograde Amnesia, where he can’t form new memories after damage to the hippocampus. He attemps to find the one who murdered his wife. He has to write himself a note, and tatooed his body with important notes since he has a short-time memory loss. The story line in this movie is divided into two parts, the one moves forward, and the other one moves backward, revealing each little bit of the puzzle he’s trying to solve: finding his wife’s murderer.

I do regret the fact that I didn’t watch this movie in 3D. No, it’s not that this movie was awesome. But it’s beacuse that, the only thing in this movie that is worth watching is just the 3D. Transformer 3 probably has a breath taking CG (computer graphic), hands down, but other than that, this movie has nothing to offer.

Despite the fact that Transformer 3 has the best CG compared to the other movie in the series, it has the worst story and it’s lack of soul. The strong bound between Sam and Bumblebee that you can feel in the first movie is somewhat gone. Besides, the duration of this movie is just too long, I kept thinking how much time left before the movie ends in the last 30 minutes. Overall: not really impressed.

See? You need more than just amazing CG to make an amazing movie.

My rating: 5/10
Recommended? If you’re not a fan of machine and fancy CG or 3D, you can skip this one.

I’m very impressed with this girl. Lizzie Velasquez, such an inspiration. The first time I saw her picture, I thought she was ugly. But after I saw her videos, listen to the way she talks, how she put her make up, how she dresses, and how confident she is, I do believe she’s very beautiful.

I loove this website very much. When playing with photoshop, I ofted have a hard time picking colors. And Colour Lovers always the best place for me to get color ideas.

Colour Lovers offers million of color palettes, and patterns to inspire us. If we want to contribute ours palettes/pattern, we can use tools provided by the website. In this site, we can also see the current color trends. What I really like about this website is the simple, and user friendly navigation. So we won’t ‘get lost’ in their site. And for addition, they also have a forum so we can interact with the other colour lovers.

Siapa yang gak kenal film ini? Film ini diadaptasi dari karangan Stephen King, bercerita tentang Andy Dufresne, bankir muda yang dijatuhi hukuman seumur hidup untuk sebuah kasus kriminal yang nggak pernah dilakukan sama dia, membunuh istrinya. Andy dikirim ke Shawshank Prison dan di sana, ia bertemu dengan Red (Morgan Freeman) yang akhirnya menjadi teman baiknya selama di Shawshank. Karena kemampuan dan latar belakangnya sebagai seorang bankir, banyak penjaga penjara yang meminta nasehat keuangan dari Andy. Kemampuan Andy pun dimanfaatkan sama sang Sipir untuk melakukan pencucian uang pribadinya. Diam-diam Andy punya rencana yang enggak dia dibocorin ke siapapun.

Ada banyak banget hal yang bikin aku suka banget sama film ini. Pertama, ceritanya, kemudian aktingnya Tim Robbins sama Morgan Freeman yang gak perlu dipertanyakan lagi. Aku juga suka banget sama persahabatannya mereka berdua (Red sama Andy). Kemudian waktu udah deket ending film, isinya jadi senyum-senyum sendiri. Hands down deh. Yang jelas film ini wajib banget buat ditonton.
